Well...the only decent Handyman eBook that I know of is from an author in the UK, and the text is geared toward building codes and techniques in the UK. For example, the water supply is gravity fed from a tank located in the eves of the house...much different than the US!
Currently the best way to get home improvement information is through forums such as this, or the best site for article currently is The Family Handyman
