Does anyone know how to check if a speaker in your car is bad?

The two speakers in the doors of our minivan are not working. I don't know if it's a fluke that they went at the same time, but I wanted to check if it is indeed the speakers and not something else.

Thanks!

You can check to see if a speaker is bad by removing it and connecting it to a reliable source, such as a home stereo or home entertainment system. The speakers wont put out great sound, because the impotence might be different, but it will at least let you know if the speaker is working.
