Does anyone have any suggestions for seaming foam backed carpet? I didn't think one could use traditional seam tape because the glue can't attach/imbed in the weave, and it might cause a bulge.

I was thinking of just carpet tape type seam tape and seam sealer.

Unless your absolutely set on it, DON'T USE TAPE!

Attached pad/Foam-backed carpet is made to be glued down with flooring adhesive. There is a good post by Floorman HERE that gives a real good detailed description on how to seam it.
