I just bought a new table saw, it's a wonderful 10" Rigid. My problem seems to lie with the tolerances in the track/slot for my miter gauge, it sticks a little bit. This won't be very good for finish work!
What's weird is the display model at Home Depot didn't have this problem.
Is there something I can do about this, or do I just have to wait until it "breaks in"? |

Use a little graphite to lubricate it, you can buy it in the automotive section of Walmart. It comes in a little tube and is most commonly used for lubricating car locks.
If you have an immediate need to fix it, you can rub a pencil in the miter gauge track. Pencils are a blend of clay and graphite, and this will work also. |
