Every once and a while I clean our carpets to remove multiple spots, and it seams that the same old spots keep reappearing. They will go away with a fresh carpet cleaning, but after a couple of weeks they will reappear.
Anyone know what causes this? |

Odds are that it's a greasy stain. Your cleaning removes the dirt, but after a while the grease with tend to attract dirt again...in the same spot!
You can use a really good cleaner that works good on grease. For example, TSP (trisodium phosphate) dissolves grease really well, but make sure to test it in a inconspicuous spot first. |
