First time I used them was for installing gutters and down spouts. Now I use them for everything. I just use them to repair a leather flight case that I've had for 7 years.
If you don't own a rivet gun, I suggest getting one NOW!!!! |

| Just remember that rivets are designed to work under shear-loads only. Even the strongest rivet will fail quickly under tension load. Nothing is worse than carrying your flight-bag under arm because of a blowout..... If you like the rivets they sell at the hardware store, you should get your hands on an aircraft supply catalog. |
